With the start of the 2019 season, our goal was to add a U-Pick area for visitors to pick their own lavender. Having already purchased the lavender plugs, the U-Pick patch never seemed to dry raising the question in our minds of did we select a good location.
As a result no U-Pick in 2019 but we added on to an existing patch and with all the early, continuous rain we also used those plants to replant the dead ones we pulled out. In addition we began the renovation of the farm’s old dairy barn to welcome visitors in 2020. The bees have been added to the farm and the second year of wildflowers comes on strong.
