8/23/2024 We choose to prune the lavender in the fall. And with the milder temps we have been doing just that. Keeping the lavender pruned helps in budding and under control. With the lack of rain we have also been giving the plants a bit of water.

Lavender Farm Open 10/14 & 10/15/2022

Come experience our farm in fall. We will open our shop from 9am to 3pm. The Goldenrod should be blooming. You can see how we have pruned our lavender back for window and just enjoy a fall day in the countryside. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch with you.

Time for a little Trim

These replacement lavender plants were planted the first of June. We do not let them bloom out their first year. We will keep cutting back the buds to force the plant to root and produce more stems. It has to be done.
