Lavender Trails – Washington Island Door County
10-8-2017 Visited Fragrant Isle Lavender on Washington Island. 30,000 plants . You have to ride the ferry to get to the island. They have a growing farm, shop and a Bistro on site. Enjoy the pics of this farm. All the bushes are pruned now getting ready for winter. It takes approx an acre of lavender plants to yield 2 gallons of oil.
