Lavender in London 2024

admin Uncategorized

In our recent trip to Europe, we observed wintering lavender.  First stop London – found around the Tower of London.  Uncut and left to bloom in the fall and into the winter as well(bottom pics).  Then cut back in the spring as the plant emerges from dormancy.   Lavender is a popular perennial in many landscapes.  We saw mostly English lavender as it is the most cold hardy.

Enjoy some of the other pictures of London we experienced during the 2024 Holiday season.  Next stop Budapest.
