140 New Plants

5/2018 – The final lavender for the farm is in the ground.  The last 140 grosso and hidcote have been planted.  On the rolling hills, the plants can drain properly and keep their feet dry.

Welcome the Wildflowers

3/2018 – The wildflower seeds have arrived.  In several locations around the farm, we are adding sunflowers, cosmos, black-eyed susans, coreopsis as well as 23 other varieties of annuals and perennials.  The bees will enjoy these flowers.  Lets hope the deer do not.

Lavender Honey Anyone??

2/28/2018 – Recently we attended the beginning beekeepers class held by the St. Clair Beekeepers club at the Madison County Farm Bureau.  We have ordered 2 hives and 2 nucs to start our beekeeping.  I think they will enjoy all the lavender to feed on.
