Time to Prune
10-17-2018 We have begun to prune the patches. There are many discussions of when to prune the lavender. Remember pruning and cutting the lavender is needed to keep the lavender healthy as well as taking one stem to many. Some prune the lavender in the fall and others in the spring depending on the severity of the winter. We have been pruning in the fall and so far so good. Last year though the nasty cold winter winds were not a friend to the lavender on the rolling hills.
