March 2022 We are finally seeing signs of spring at the lavender farm. Bulbs are beginning to bloom and a few lavender plants are starting to greenup. Come on spring!!!!

January, 2022 Taking advantage of a sunny, warm day in January 2022 to work on the fence row along the wildflower patches. Dad left us old barbed wire, posts and in general just tending to the trees that form that row. Vines of kudzu here and there that if left unattended will kill the trees.

Planting more wildflowers & bulbs

November, 2021 Using some of the last great weather in November we planted 100’s and 100’s of bulbs. Earlier we had deadheaded just some of the wildflowers and now we are spreading them out in all the wildflower patches adding more and more flowers to the farm.

Monarchs

10/2021 – This year the monarchs were scarce but the butterfly bushes attracted those we saw. At times 20 monarchs were on the bush.
